An original rare and captivating late 19th century ladies lotus shoes. Ornately decorated and finely hand embroidered with floral motifs with a light blue cloth lining. Embroidered toes with bands of colorful trim and pink silk capped with a burgandy satin fabric.
An exceptional high quality rarely found pair Chinese Lotus Shoes. This pair was likely worn as bed shoes as they do not show wear.

The shoes are approx.,5-3/4" long from toe to heel, 2 inches wide and 6" tall.

CONDITION
They are in very good condition with very little wear and no damage, stains or repairs. They have been worn, then just stored away decades ago. Photos are a fair representation of the condition.
