DESCRIPTION: Three Japanese tsuba, two made from iron and one made from bronze.:

(1) Bronze tsuba, the obverse and reverse depicting a dragon weaving its way through waves.
(1) Iron tsuba featuring a metal border, the obverse of the depicting two figures, the reverse depicting a rock.
(1) Iron tsuba, the obverse depicting three figures gazing at a fourth figure riding a horse and inscribed with kanji, the reverse depicting a landscape.
CIRCA: 19th century, both iron tsuba possibly later
ORIGIN: Japanese
DIMENSIONS: (Largest iron tsuba) H: 3.5" W: 3.25"
CONDITION: Losses to gilding and patination on both iron tsuba. Minor losses to gilding on the bronze tsuba.
