Leandre Poisson, known primarily for his book Solar Gardening: Growing Vegetables Year-Round the American Intensive Way, designed and fabricated a range of molded plywood furniture for his geodesic dome house in New Hampshire. After graduating from RISD in the late 1950s, Poisson worked for Raymond Loewy and in other design offices in NYC. Following a move to Harrisville, NH in the late 1960s, Poisson would spend the ensuing decades innovating with gardening technology and solar energy architecture.
