Spectacular Gentleman's Auction

Presenting historic and modern firearms, edged weapons, Native American artifacts, world military orders, medals and insignia, world coinage, wildlife mounts and more. Featuring items from the estate of Eugene Gray (1929-2018), Webster City, IA, Gene Burry lifetime collection of militaria, the Dr. Frank Kulik of Scottsdale, AZ lifetime collection, the Patricia Miller (1949-2017) Estate, Fairfield, IA, and two important private Midwest lifetime collections. Over 500 lots of “man-cave” material from various lifetime collections and estates. Comprising over 125 antique and modern firearms including Civil War era pistols, rifles, and “cowboy” guns, as well as some European antique firearms and an offering of modern pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Also included are over 100 lots of Native American artifacts including a good amount of beadwork, basketry, pottery, kachinas, vintage McKenney & Hall Indian prints, Edward Curtis, stone tools, plus over 50 Navajo weavings, including two fine Germantown examples. Also offered will be a wide variety of edged weapons including a good offering of Civil War period bowie knives as well as swords, daggers, bayonets, and Asian pole arms and other countries’ edged weapons. Additionally, a great offering of over 400 world military orders, medals and decorations from a single lifetime collection including a great deal of German WWII material. Also included in this auction, are cowboy and western themed artifacts such as spurs, holsters, and the like, as well as carved canes, pipes, powder horns, taxidermy mounts, geological specimens and fossils, including a Tyrannosaurus egg, and related artwork. The sale is rounded out with an interesting mixed offering of mostly U.S. coins containing a great deal of vintage silver and a variety of stamps.
