I know now that there coins are newly manufactured and I had been warned about new coins. My mistake
If you are new to collecting coins like me and want only old coins stay away from Gold Standard Auction. I’ve made my first mistake collecting coin by looking elsewhere for a coin but it will not happen again. Stick with BK, Eternty and eBay

Purchased several (3) auctions of Morgans. Coins are NOT BU!
I won several auctions of the BU Morgan's. They Finally came in. I began opening the $20 rolls and was HIGHLY Disappointed in the condition of the coins. First of all, out of 60 coins that were advertised as "CH GEM BU" they were NOT! Out of 60 coins 2 were perhaps AU, certainly NOT as advertised! They all looked like they were polished each and every one of them. Some will barely grade as "Good." Most grade at "Very Fine" and several were "XF." For the most part, if your paying ANYTHING over $300 for a lot, you've just wasted your money! I certainly will not be bidding anything over $250 so that If by some rare chance I do win, I'll be able to recoup some of my previous loss! WARNING! DO NOT PAY OVER $300 FOR ANY LOT! YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Won the Bid for a coin on Gold Standard Auctions, paid $1, 100.45 for the win, Received an envelope from Gold Standard, nothing in the envelope but a piece of cardboard. No Coin enclosed.

Misleading Photos
I did not get all of the coins won-as pictured. The image clearly shows three (P/SW) coins as first strike eagles; however, the West Point coins received are not labeled first strike, making each set significantly less collectible. I contacted the GS auction house and LiveAuctioneers bidder support on multiple occasions by email and through the LiveAuctioneers message system, but my complaints are being ignored. I am very disappointed that my business is not valued.

The Gold Standard-of Scamming
Purchased 2 rolls of "BU Morgan Dollars". Photos showed lovely BU coins. Of the coins received, 2 out of 40 were genuinely BU, but of course damaged. The rest were polished and/or cleaned, and XF-AU in grade, nowhere near uncirculated, let alone BU. Full bait & switch. Check the BBB for more ratings from buyers who were duped. Looking at other listings, they are filled with falsehoods. Coins that are clearly VG are described as "lightly circulated" and XF are "uncirculated". Photos are clearly electronically enhanced to deceive, with some crazily inflated "price guide" BS dollar value. Be leery of anything here. Also took three weeks to mail something they printed the label for right away. Its almost like they found this stuff in a 200 year old safe. If you know, you know. Steer clear.

Great experience
I live over the pond and across the sea, but it honestly felt like the auction was across the street. The items all arrived quickly and with very low shipping cost. The items honestly in better condition than the image displayed, which may have simply been a glare issue or something, but it made for a nice surprise. Would definitely shop again, in fact I already signed up for the next auction:)

Positive experience
I bought from 3 different of their auctions. All items were as advertised; shipping was fast and cheap; what more is there to ask for from an auction house?

do NOT trust these auction houses, bait and switch!!!! S A D!
Stay AWAY from these auction houses, the premiums are too high and you do NOT get what you pay for, plus a processing fee on top of taxes and premiums,..... NOT worth it
