Indistinctly marked, probably Moscow, first half 18th century
Rectangular, depicting three angels, Old Testament precursors to the Holy Trinity, seated at a table at the home of Abraham and Sarah at Mamre, with Abraham and Sarah standing in the foreground, with a silver-gilt frame inscribed in Russian: Holy Trinity. Height 4 7/8 inches (12.4 cm), width 4 1/8 (10.5 cm).
