Description
Incredible Marklin Torpedo Divisionboat, Livesteam Tin Ship Circa 1910. Model 5080/50 in German Cataloging. This model though was made for the French export market and appears hand painted in French 'Made in Germany'. Namesake is a unique, we believe one of a kind survivor "Yatagan". Soldier present that can clip into action at the bridge or on deck. Replaced aft flag, mast and pennant appear original. Boiler appears proper with cap and steam valve. Twin Torpedo tubes rotate on wheels for war action. Incredible hand painted lifeboats as well as pinstriping and simulated rivets. Crate comes with toy that may be the French market box where unassembled ship fits; slide top. An incredible find and one of the nicest examples extant. Toy just over 50 cm in length.
