Description
Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Sulawesi Island, Toba Batak peoples, ca. 19th century CE. A cast-brass flask with a fan-shaped body bearing an image of a palmette leaf on each side. A leather strap attached to petite buckles extends over the top, and a screw-threaded ring cap closes the mouth of the vessel. Size: 2.4" W x 4.75" H (6.1 cm x 12.1 cm); 5.7" H (14.5 cm) on included custom stand.
