The Collector: New York
The New York edition of The Collector sale is pleased to feature an array of decorative arts from connoisseurs and private collectors, as well as from three American institutions including The Museum of the City of New York.
This season will feature a selection of important collections highlighting fine and decorative English furniture, from the early Georgian period to the late Regency, including Property from the Collection of Fritz and Lucy Jewett. Further highlights include Sevres porcelain from a private collection, European furniture, Russian works of art and silver from the Orange Blossom Collection. We are honored to have a group of exquisite pâte-sur-pâte porcelain from The Museum of the City of New York, Sold to Benefit the Collection; a group of 19th century furniture and decorative arts from the Mead Art Museum, Sold to Benefit Future Acquisitions; and works of porcelain and silver sold by Order of the Board of Trustees of the Minneapolis Institute of Art, to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund.
