"Elegant 1940s classic Art Deco solid 14K Gruen Precision ladies wristwatch. Incredibly, this gold watch runs and keeps time, exactly as it did back in the early 1940s. Beautifully maintained and cared for. The case is stamped 14k and inscribed with in itils and the date 12-25-43, the inside back of case reads cased and timed in USA by Gruen watch Co., 14K gold and the Serial 224629. 2 very small dings on back of case. Movement reads Precision 17 jewel, Veri-Thin Patented, Switzerland, Serial A122846.Complete Price Guide to Watches No.25, 2005 by Cooksey Shugart pg. 784 ... includes certificate that this lot came from the Estate of Louise Mondani Graham, owner of the Brass Bugle Antique Barn in Cornwall Bridge CT."
