RARE LEMP BEER FALSTAFF SHIELD MIRROR SIGN

A circa 1915 gold reverse on glass mirror sign with 'glue chip' effect and reverse painted colors, a beveled edge to the shield shape glass outline. Measures 9 x 10 inches, hung with what appears to be the original chain. A rare gem.

Condition report

A few minor nicks to the polished/beveled edge, a 1/16th inch line at the edge of the shield appears as a tight fracture line but is actually an original flaw at the edge. Minor appearance of separation of the red painted letters. The red paint has separated 50% on the letters 'F', 30% on the 'A' and the 'T', less on the remaining letters. Very good condition without damage or restoration, no sign of excessive wear or abuse. Great eye appeal and colors.
