English or American, 1st half-18th century, mahogany and pine. Pierced, gilt shell crest and a gilt liner. Retains an old or original finish. 43 1/2"h. 17"w. Ex Bill Samaha (Ohio), ex New England collection (sold at Caddigan Auctioneers, February 27, 1993).

Condition report



Condition: Possibly replaced hanger. Original mirror glass and backboards (appear undisturbed), old/original gilt with very minor touchup, a few very minor veneer repairs.
